The wedding and reception are to take place in and around the Trocadero Clubhouse, a Victorian building at the east end of Stern Grove’s 33 acres of eucalyptus and redwood forest. The main entrance is at the northwest corner of Sloat Boulevard and 19th Avenue in San Francisco. Parking is somewhat limited. We encourage carpooling and the use of public transit. San Francisco’s roads are often busy, so we recommend allowing extra time for possible traffic delays.

By Public Transit:

Take SFMTA (Muni) line K or M outbound to St. Francis Circle. Walk west along Sloat Boulevard for three blocks. Stern Grove is on the right, at 19th Avenue. Walk down the hill to reach the redwood grove and Trocadero Clubhouse.

By Car:

From the airport and points south, take Interstate 280 North to California Route 1 North. Keep right onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Turn left on Sloat Boulevard. The entrance to Stern Grove is on the right, at the corner of 19th Avenue.

From downtown and points east, take Interstate 280 South to Ocean Avenue. Drive westbound on Ocean to Junipero Serra Boulevard and turn right. Turn left on Sloat Boulevard. The entrance to Stern Grove is on the right, at the corner of 19th Avenue.

Parking:

The best parking lot is past the main entrance to Stern Grove.  Continue westbound on Sloat for about 0.5 mile to Vale Avenue and turn right. This road leads to Stern Grove’s west parking lot (directions). On foot, follow the signs east through the Concert Meadow to arrive at the redwood grove and Trocadero Clubhouse.

There is a much smaller parking lot in front of the Trocadero Clubhouse that is available if guests need more access. Please email Ian in advance if you think you will need to park as close as possible to the redwood grove and Trocadero Clubhouse.
